I remember our computers at Primary school... a ZX Spectrum 48K and a BBC Model B. Yes, at one point, we just had two... sitting side by side in a spare classroom.

Strangely enough, the Speccy was always the most popular... mainly because kids would bring their games in from home to play on it. I can remember getting turfed off the computer once, when I was doing my work, just so some of the older kids could play games on it. I got my revenge though... the stupid gits plugged their joystick interface into the back of the computer when it was turned on. Result - one dead spectrum!

When I went up to secondary school they had a whole room filled with networked Spectrums and QLs!
